I’m a fragrance minded person so I’m going to approach this review from that view. The presentation of this is really nice, it’s a simple cardboard box with a cardboard insert to keep things from moving around inside. The print is really well done with a new age boho type of vibe that would look great on a shelf if you display your boxes. It’s a squat thick heavy glass bottle so the box doesn’t take up a lot of real estate nor does the bottle. The atomizer isn’t anything revolutionary but it does work well and gets the job done just fine. I had no leaks or loose collars and the plastic cap has enough bite to feel secure but I wouldn’t pick it up by the cap just to be sure. The Adventurine stone is well polished and looks of something you’d get from a gem shop it’s not plastic or anything and it fits perfectly under the bottle which has an indented hump underneath for it which gives the illusion the stone is inside the bottle. The bottle fits snugly in the base but not snugly enough that it won’t come off when your picking up the bottle and only just barely so I found myself picking the whole thing up only for the base to fall off but once you know it’s a thing it’s easy enough to pick it up without the base. As a whole presentation it looks quite nice under the lights on our shelves. It’s very eye catching because it’s different. On first spray I got a nice punch of woods and my first thought was that this leans masculine but as it developed over a minute or so I started picking out the coconut notes more and they blended together quite well with the woods and I could see it leaning more unisex. But then it hit me, this is a fragrance at the end of the day but it’s also being presented as more than that. There’s a spiritual aspect to it that shouldn’t be looked over. And once you realize that, the gender doesn’t make much sense in the grand scheme of things this is meant to be an experience and invoke certain feelings or blessings. And once you start to see it in that way you start to see how the perfumer was trying to convey an idea with the scent and I must say they hit the mark. This feels clean, fresh, a little florals peeking through as it dries down but only just, it’s a fresh set of sheets at bedtime, a candle burning on the tub side with a hot bath. It’s aromatherapy, it’s not the entire painting it’s a brush to spread the colors to make the painting. And with the helpful video here on the listing (they are on Yt as well) you’re given more of the pieces to take this journey and you get a card with all the instructions as well. As a fragrance it’s great, it smells designer and worth its price and the scent bubble and longevity are as expected for an EDP concentration. I’d say 5-6 hours with decent woodsy coconut-y sillage for about an hour then it settles into more of a coconut and incense forward scent for the remainder of its time. Blind buy safe as long as you’re into woods and coconut with some incense at the end. Five stars.
